The Bayeux Calvados-Normandy War Correspondents’ Awards will be celebrating its 30th edition in Bayeux, Normandy, from 9 to 15 October 2023.
This event, dedicated to chief war correspondents, has acquired an international reputation and attracts an ever-growing number of visitors to Bayeux to the debates, exhibitions and discussions with the reporters themselves.
The 30th edition will provide an opportunity to revisit the history of these awards and the origins of war journalism, which also passed through the beaches of Normandy in 1944. The organisers also want to take the opportunity to reflect back on thirty years of conflicts around the world.
